MINNEAPOLIS — The
Lewis made his season debut May 28 after recovering from a torn ACL in his right knee that occurred on the same date in 2022. He also missed 36 games earlier this year because of a strained left oblique muscle.
The Twins recalled outfielder Jordan Luplow to replace Lewis on the 28-man roster for the remainder of the regular season. The American League Central-leading Twins are also counting on the return of shortstop Carlos Correa for the playoffs.
