Three people have been arrested after a man in his 20s was shot dead and another was wounded during an incident in the West Midlands.
Police launched a murder investigation after the shooting in Well Lane, Walsall, just before 5pm on Monday.
The second man who was wounded is not thought to be in a life-threatening condition.
West Midlands Police said: “We understand the alarm that such incidents cause and there will be an increase in police presence around the area in coming days.
“Officers will be offering reassurance, so please talk to them if you have any concerns.”
An 18-year-old man and two 17-year-olds were arrested on Monday night.

Police are continuing with their enquiries, with increased stop and search powers in place across Walsall until 2pm on Tuesday.
