Honda has a new entry-level EV! Well, almost. The Honda Super EV Concept made its global debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS), a preview of its upcoming small electric SUV.

It might be a little boxy-looking, but Honda promises that the Super EV Concept packs an “uplifting, heart-pounding driving experience.”
We got our first look at the compact electric SUV last month after a camouflaged prototype was spotted driving in the UK.
Although Honda has been testing the new EV in the UK, the Super EV Concept made its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS) over the weekend.
The electric city car is based on Honda’s retro-looking kei car, the N-One. It shares a similar boxy, upright design, but Honda modified the entire vehicle with an all-electric powertrain and updated style. Additionally, the N-One is designed for the Japanese market, whereas the new concept will be a global model.
One of the most noticeable features is up front, with a fresh facelift that includes a closed-off grille and updated round LED headlights.

Honda is keeping most details under wraps for now, but given the N-One has a length of 3,395 mm (133.7″), it’s expected to arrive around that size or slightly bigger.
The Sorer EV is expected to be one of seven new electric vehicles under Honda’s new 0 series lineup. Honda plans to launch seven new EVs, including a new SUV and sedan, by 2030. After the SUV and sedan, set to arrive next year, Honda is expected to introduce a smaller electric SUV in 2026.
Honda was planning to launch a larger electric SUV in the US around 2027, but a recent Nikkei report claimed it was scrapping it to focus on hybrid vehicles.
Will Honda bring the new entry-level EV to the US? A separate Nikkei report earlier this year outlined Honda’s plans to launch an affordable EV, priced under $30,000 in the US. It’s expected to follow the 0 Series electric SUV and sedan.
Honda’s new EV was among many that were shown for the first time at FOS, including the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N and Porsche Cayenne EV.
