Kyle Clifford: Triple murder suspect in 'serious condition' as police recover crossbow

The suspect in the triple murder of three women in Hertfordshire is in a serious condition in hospital and is yet to be questioned, police have said.

Kyle Clifford was discovered by police in Lavender Hill cemetery in Enfield, north London, on Wednesday following a large manhunt.

The 26-year-old was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel where he is continuing to receive treatment.

Police have not revealed how the former security guard sustained his injuries and he is yet to be arrested.

Police say a crossbow has been recovered as part of the investigation.

The victims have been named as Carol Hunt, 61, the wife of Sky Sports and BBC racing commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters, Louise, 25, and Hannah, 28.

They were found with serious injuries at a property in Ashlyn Close, in Bushey, Hertfordshire, just before 7pm on Tuesday. They died a short time later.
