Geri Halliwell drops Christian Horner's surname in Dior fashion video

Geri Halliwell has ditched her married name in a video for fashion house Christian Dior, several months after her husband Christian Horner was accused of inappropriate behaviour.

In February, grievances made against Red Bull team principal Christian Horner by a female Red Bull employee were dismissed.

After being cleared of wrongdoing, Horner – who has always denied the claims made against him – continued in his role.

The female employee, who was suspended from her role, appealed the decision to clear Horner with the Formula One team’s Austrian parent company Red Bull GmbH.

The former Spice Girl introduces herself at the start of the short video, saying “‘C’est moi Geri, Geri Halliwell,” which translates as “It’s me, Geri, Geri Halliwell”.

The 51-year-old singer goes on to explore the Dior In Scotland exhibition at Drummond Castle in Perthshire, looking at their 2025 Cruise collection, inspired by Mary, Queen of Scots.

Speaking about the grievance in March, Horner said the investigation had been a “very trying period” for him and his family, including his wife.

He said: “My wife has been phenomenally supportive through this, as has my family, but the intrusion on my family is now enough, and we need to move forward and focus on what we are here for.”

Halliwell has not publicly spoken about the scandal.

Halliwell married the F1 boss in 2015 in a lavish ceremony at Woburn Abbey, with guests including Emma Bunton, Amanda Holden, Myleene Klass, Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French.

Horner and Halliwell share a seven-year-old son, Monty. Halliwell also has an 18-year-old daughter, Bluebell, with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.

Sky News has contacted a representative for Halliwell for comment about her change of name.
