A man who knocked over four passers-by after being bottled in a pub fight has been jailed for 20 years.
Choudry Razaq, 26, got behind the wheel in a “rage” after the fight in Hounslow, west London, and drove into the innocent men – leaving two with life-threatening injuries.
His trial at the Old Bailey heard he left them “for dead” in the early hours of 25 September 2022.
Gabriel Sjnevicius, Hanad Duhaut, Harris Koneswaran and Abdi Moallim had witnessed the altercation outside the White Bear pub but were not involved.
The friends carried on walking and were heading to watch a boxing match on television when Razaq – who was already banned from driving – drove into them at about 33mph.
Bodies were left “scattered across two driveways” after the silver Chevrolet hit the group, the trial heard.
Mr Sjnevicius was flung on to the roof and landed on a brick wall, sustaining multiple skull fractures.
Mr Duhaut was left in a foetal position with a serious head injury near another wall, and Mr Koneswaran was spreadeagled on his back.
Mr Moallim was the least injured and the only one still conscious.
The jury was told Razaq – who had a head injury from the bottle attack – washed his clothes when he got home and booked a flight to Pakistan.
He was later arrested at Heathrow and refused to answer questions in a police interview.

Razaq, from Feltham in west London, admitted inflicting GBH on three of the men and attempted actual bodily harm to a fourth – but denied intent.
He also admitted dangerous driving and driving while banned.
The 26-year-old was sentenced to life with a minimum of 20 years in prison and given a 21-year driving disqualification.
Detective Constable Hollie Collins, of Scotland Yard, said it was an “intentional, merciless and unprovoked attack”.
“It was due to the speedy work of the team of investigators that Razaq was arrested so quickly and prevented from evading justice by fleeing the country,” he added.
